This animation shows Novarka (new arch), an international project to confine the unsafe sarcophagus of Chernobyl's reactor number four. It will be the biggest construction of its kind in the world.

I saw this and it makes me wonder what theyre going to have to do in Japan. Im kinda frightened by the thought. All the resources basically lost in repairing these gigantic man made disasters.

This is an ambitious endeavor. Think about the cost to "contain" this disaster. Makes me wonder when "they" say that nuclear power is worth harnessing. This month (April 18th to be exact) marks 25yrs since the Chernobyl disaster. Have we learned anything from this, I sure hope so. Excellent submission kientad!
