Predicting the Future
In this historic footage from 1964, Arthur C Clarke talks about the perils in trying to predict the future... then, bizarrely enough, predicts it with precision.

Unbelievable! Most of his points are dead on. I wonder how many people thought he was way out there back in 1964? Great post, nova!

This is very interesting i had not heard of Arther C Clarke before, he was amazingly accurate that's for sure.

Arthur C Clarke devised the idea of geostationary telecommunications satellites, is the author of 2001: A Space Odyssey and a whole wack of other things.

He famously once stated: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." (It's one of his "Three Laws".

Tomorrow I am posting a 20 minute long segment that this was derived from, definitely look out for it.
