Humans may be capable of greatness, but we are also the most destructive creatures on earth.will we have learned from our mistakes here before we attempt to colonize other planets?

Man is capable of greatness. It is up to mankind to to use technology to benefit the planet and the living things found on it. I wish I could say with certainty that man will learn from his mistakes, but I cannot.
