Are pathogens really all bad?

Postby Donnieclark » Wed Nov 22, 2017 12:46 am

Let us assume we have wiped out all pathogens, in people and in other organisms, from the face of the earth. Would that be a bad thing? I mean, we all like to think it's good because nobody is going to die from disease. But perhaps we need diseases to stay healthy as well. Maybe if nobody got sick, their immune system and other organ systems would not be exercised, and therefore may be weak in other things as well.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
