Is melatonin a safer neuroleptic drug?

Postby Donnieclark » Mon Nov 20, 2017 8:03 am

Hii...

I'm now taking melatonin supplements at bedtime to improve my sleep and nocturnal hypertension. I have restarted to dream again.

Is the antidopaminergic activity of exogenous melatonin comparable to the effects of atypical antipsychotics on dopamine receptors?

How do melatonin administration increases the affinity of dopamine D2 receptors in the striatum?

What do you think?

Thanks..!

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
